“Picasso’s Minotaur, carousing, loving, and fighting, is Picasso himself”, Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler The most renowned artist of the 20th century, who was unsurpassed, unparalleled, terrible, and ruthless in his love affair, was bound to bring together his artworks and his private life. The play is composed of several genres, namely drama arts, contemporary dance, and instrumental music. All these elements make the performance as gripping and spectacular as the artist’s oeuvre is. The play sheds light on all the milestones of the relationship between Olga Khokhlova and Pablo Picasso. First, they got acquainted with one another in Rome. Then they got married. Later on, their son was born. They broke up afterward and made some desperate endeavors to resume their relationship. Many people are familiar with this love story and it resonates in their hearts.
