Performance "Meditation"
"To find a new path, you need to leave the old road".
Omar Khayyam
Description
Meditation is a force that awakens the inner voice and leads to self-discovery. It helps one experience every breath and movement as part of something greater.
At the heart of the performance lies a philosophical parable about a person—each of us—who embarks on a quest for the meaning of existence. The principles of Osho's philosophy guide this journey toward truth and inner freedom. Russian culture serves as a bridge to our roots, restoring the connection to spiritual heritage.
Dance, inspired by both ancient and modern imagery, transforms into a bodily meditation where the mind, body, and space merge into one.
The philosophy of meditation comes to life through the body's movements, immersing the audience in a state of inner silence, accompanied by the sounds of unique instruments such as the didgeridoo, hang drum, oud, kanjira, bar chimes, RAV Vast, rainstick, bendir, "death whistle," and others.
The performance merges contemporary art with the philosophy of mindfulness, inviting viewers on a meditative journey that encourages them to rethink the familiar world and discover it anew.
